CANES4LIFE.COM in cooperation with 560 WQAM and CANESPORT.COM will hosts its Annual Spring Football Alumni Party on Saturday March 27, 2010 from 11am-2:30pm at Miami Prime Grill located at 16395 Biscayne Blvd in N. Miami Beach.  Immediately after, join our Official Caravan to the game, held at Traz Powell Stadium and led by former cane "Leon Searcy" in his piloted RV.  Again, this is a free family friendly event for all alumni and you are encouraged to bring your spouse and children; every member of the University of Miami Football Alumni is considered a special guest and will be treated as such.  Our focus has always been to embrace and celebrate the unique brotherhood that has been established by every individual that has ever worn a UM uniform. Additionally, during half-time of the Spring Game, emotions will be at an all time high as a special acknowledgement is made commemorating: 

THE EVOLUTION OF "CANES 4 LIFE"

The question is often asked, “What is Canes 4 Life?", "Who is behind Canes 4 Life?" or "What is the purpose of Canes 4 Life?"  Quite simply, Canes 4 Life (C4L) is anyone who has practiced, played or coached on a University of Miami Hurricane Football team from the time of the program’s inception in 1926 to today.  Upon completion of their career at UM, these individuals are considered University of Miami Football Alumni.

The alumni, whom you have grown accustomed to hearing from regularly via e-mail, letters, or phone calls, are all merely delegates for a common cause.  C4L represents all Hurricane Football Alumni, joined as a collective group of members, whereas every individual has a voice.  The idea and vision is to ultimately combine each individual voice into one strong, profound voice that will never go unheard. ...click here to read more
